About the Journal

Cranmer Theological Journal (ISSN 2995-9241) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes work related to Biblically orthodox Anglicanism. Our goal is to enable rigorous conversations that will help to shape the Church in North America and the world, written and edited by contributors who share that orthodox perspective.

Our readers include faculty, parish clergy and laypeople, and are not confined to any one jurisdiction or province. Each issue will contain free online articles in areas such as Biblical theology, dogmatics, pastoral theology, liturgy, and Church history.

The Editors, with assistance from the Editorial Board, determine the content of each published issue. The Governing Board is responsible for maintaining the theological and scholarly standards of the journal. The journal is published by Cranmer Theological House of the Reformed Episcopal Church, a founding jurisdiction of the Anglican Church in North America.

We expect to publish one or two issues each year, depending on the number of suitable submissions. CTJ is an open access journal, with all content available for free download, use and redistribution under a CC BY-ND license. All articles and reviews in each issue are indexed by Google Scholar.  A printed copy of each issue will be available from our print on demand service.
